RateSupermarket.ca Shares Credit Card Saving Tips on Radio and TV

During the frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, RateSupermarket.ca was out educating consumers about how to save money when using a credit card this busy holiday season.

On Friday, Kelvin Mangaroo, President of RateSupermarket.ca, was a guest speaker on The Afternoon News with Tom Young, airing on News 95.7 Halifax, News 88.9 Saint John and News 91.9 Moncton.

Kelvin shared RateSupermarket.ca’s cure for Christmas Credit Card Catastrophes, including our top tips on how to avoid unnecessary interest rate charges.

Tom highlighted the need to check over your credit card statements, given that he was recently charged $40 from a gas station that he visited 6 months ago while on holiday!

Then on Saturday, Kelvin spoke with CTV News anchor Jacqueline Milczarek, where he highlighted special credit cards offers that can help consumers save money on existing credit card debt.

“By switching to a card with a low introductory interest rate or a 0% balance transfer card, the money that you save on interest can be put towards paying off the principal,” said Kelvin.
